Safety Body Harnesses

Safety body harnesses are secured to the worker's shoulders, torso and thighs. In the event of a fall, they distribute the force of the fall to the body, keeping the worker upright. Safety body harnesses are often paired with accessories, such as self-retracting lifelines or shock absorbers, to add additional safety features or to provide comfort or convenience to the wearer.

Safety body harnesses are devices worn by people working at height to help reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall. These anti-harnesses are secured to the shoulders, torso and upper thighs, thus distributing the force of the fall to all parts of the wearer's body. General industry safety body harnesses have a D-ring on the back that attaches to a self-retracting lifeline or shock cord and to a secure anchor point. the D-ring is positioned to reduce stress on the wearer's body and keep the wearer upright in the harness during and after a fall.
